This past Thursday I paid a visit to Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland. To gain some inside knowledge on the Arundel Wildcats Varsity football program. During this post practice visit I got to speak with multiple coaches on a variance of topics. Discussing everything from their outlook for the team, to goals they have set for themselves and the players going into this short Arundel County football season. The two coaches I got the opportunity to speak with were Head Coach Jack Walsh and Wide Receiver Coach Anthony Taylor Jr.

First in speaking with Head Coach Jack Walsh we discussed a variety topics. These included his team and coaching staff’s preparation and adjustments being made for their shortened season.

In my conversation with Wide Receiver Coach Anthony Taylor we discussed varying topics. From his experiences so far since recently joining the Arundel program. As well as, players he is excited about observing their developments coming into this season.

Overall my visit to Arundel was great and I clearly got some insight into the thinking and experiences of the coaches going into this season. Plus with their 4-game season having kicked off with a tough loss against Old Mill 16-6, the coaching staff I am sure is already preparing to ready their team for a bounceback effort next week . I look forward to following them the rest of the year to see how things progress.
