A New KC Royals Core

The Kansas City Royals having won the World Series 5 years ago in 2014 are now in the midst of a rebuild. As the organization has been looking to determine which players will form the next core for the Royals. Despite a rough 43-76 record to this point this MLB season, the Royals have seen some building blocks emerge. As they have witnessed several young players take big steps in their development and perform well in the big leagues. As players like Hunter Dozier, Adalberto Mondesi, and others have begun to provide a glimmer of hope to what may be a success filled future.
